Northern Lights Tavern

163 N Lake Ave, Phillips. The oldest continuously operating tavern in Phillips, owned by just five families since the 1890s. Friday fish fry in a setting that’s been serving drinks since Grover Cleveland was president. Burgers, pizza, and sandwiches round out the menu. The Lanes . Bar, Grill & Bowling

1127 4th Ave South, Park Falls. Exactly 20 fresh burger varieties (and 20 different wing sauces) on the menu. That’s not a typo. Plus homemade pizzas, and a full bar. Eight lanes of bowling if you want to earn your appetite. Gaming machines in the corner. This is where you take kids who think they’re too old for “family night” and watch them change their minds.

Rock Garden Tavern

Phillips. 5.0 rating on Google with 7 reviews. Dive bar perfection, no delivery, no pretense, just good food and cold drinks in a setting that hasn’t changed much since your grandparents were dating. The kind of place that reminds you why dive bars exist.
