Things to do in Prentice, wi

Located at the intersection of US Highway 8 and State Hwy. 13 Prentice is a great place to stop and stretch your legs if you’re ever driving through the area. The town is home to the Prentice Municipal Airport, which offers daily service to the Prentice area via Stevens Point, Wausau, Phillips, Park Falls, and Ashland.

Prentice, Wisconsin, is a quaint little town located in Price County, with a population of around 660 people. The town was named after Jackson L. Prentice, an early surveyor and a resident of Stevens Point from 1845 to 1902, the time of his death.

Prentice has a rich history in the logging and paper industries, which is evident in the town’s many historical buildings and landmarks. The town is also home to the Price County Historical Society, dedicated to preserving and sharing the region’s history.
